This AACSB-accredited business administration program combines core business knowledge with information technology. Through this program, you will learn the latest best practices in management, develop business and leadership skills, discuss current international business issues with faculty members who are experts in their fields, and work with fellow students from different cultures. This program requires 36 credit hours to complete and is targeted toward working professionals and executives. The format is designed to be completed in two to three years.

DELIVERY FORMAT: Missouri S&T's unique approach to delivering distance education is designed for working professionals. Live class participation through streaming video maintains the student-to-faculty interaction and enhances the learner experience through the use of the latest technology. Classes are recorded and archived online for review and easy access. Canvas is the learning management system for the campus.

Admissions & Requirements

To be accepted to this program, you must have:

  1. Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university.
  2. Undergraduate GPA ≥ 3.0/4.0 in last two years of coursework.
  3. GMAT Score ≥ 550 or GRE Score V+Q ≥ 297, AW ≥ 3.5
  4. International requirement: TOEFL ≥ 88 (iBT) or IELTS ≥ 6.5.
  5. Unofficial transcripts are sufficient for an admission decision. Missouri S&T requires official transcripts from all schools attended before a student may register for a second semester at S&T. In order for a transcript to be counted as official, it must be sent directly from the school to S&T.
  6. Statement of purpose (2-3 paragraphs explaining why you are applying to this program) and 3 letters of recommendation. You will be asked to upload or provide this information during the online application process.

    This class will teach students how to work well in teams and lead teams and organizations. Management, networking, presentation skills, and sustainable business practices will be covered. MBA core. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.

  • BUS 6224Managerial Accounting and Control3.0 Credits

    This course covers managerial accounting and its critical role in decision making, monitoring, and controlling business processes. MBA core. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.

  • BUS 6425Supply Chain and Project Management3.0 Credits

    This course covers supply chain management and its critical role in developing and maintaining effective and efficient processes in the organization, including operations and project management processes and principles. MBA core. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.

  • BUS 6426Integration of Business Areas3.0 Credits

    Students will acquire knowledge to integrate the business functions to maximize performance efficiency and effectiveness. It will be covered through case studies and readings. MBA core. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.

  • BUS 6622International Marketing3.0 Credits

    This course focuses on the challenges faced by business managers as they deal with a competitive global market. The course will examine various topics related to international marketing such as cultural differences, economic differences, differences in product and technical standards, global advertising, and international pricing and segmentation. MBA core. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.

  • BUS 6723Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Information Systems Management3.0 Credits

    The course, designed for business executives, covers management of information to revitalize business processes, improve business decision-making, embrace emerging and disruptive technologies, and gain competitive advantages. The course also covers implications of AI, automation, machine learning, and robotics on business and society. MBA core. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.

  • BUS 6827 Managerial Finance 3.0 Credits

    This course covers the use of financial tools to manage the organization. The main focus is the strategic decision-making process of modern managers responsible for major financial decisions. Topics include financial policy, capital investment analysis, dividend policy, capital structure, and other contemporary corporate finance issues. MBA core. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
